PlusNet Value broadband costs from £6.49 a month.  The price is available to around 80 percent of UK homes.  If you do not live in this area, the monthly cost is £6.49 for the first three months, then either £10.79 or £12.99 a month, depending on where you live.  The monthly usage allowance is 10GB, with download speeds of up to 20Mb.  The package includes a free wireless router, and they have a no-contract option.  The no-contract option gives you the freedom to leave at anytime; all you need to do is pay for the router up-front or use your own if it is compatible.

PlusNet Extra broadband costs from £11.49 a month.  For this, the monthly usage allowance is 60GB with all the same facilities as the Value broadband.  With such a large allowance, the package is useful for home workers and gamers, or anybody who regularly downloads large files and movies.  If you do not live in the area where the discounted price is available, then the monthly cost is £11.49 for the first three months, rising to either £15.79 or £17.99 a month after that.

Business Broadband

Business users are catered to with three options which cost from £10.00, £15.00, or £25.00 a month.  They all have up to 8Mb download speeds, but the monthly download allowance varies from 10GB, 50GB and unlimited usage.

What is Mi-Fi Mobile Broadband?
